Christmas

I am so ixciteed for Christmas!  It is sutch an exciting holiday!  I made my Christmas list and I put lots of Playmobil down on it.  And it is ispecoully special because it is Jesus's birthday.  I love puting up the tree and decorating the tree.  I love making coockie's and singing Christmas songs.  I love getting presints and shopping for them too.  A few things I put on my Christmas list are lots of Playmobil, clothes for my Maplelea girl, games, books, and lots more.  I'm going to add more as I think of them.  I love siting with a bunch of Christmas food around me thinking of what Christmas means and talking to my parents and sisters.  I love Christmas!

L.C.S.

Now that we are in Winipeg I am in grade two.  The school that we go to is called L.C.S.   L.C.S. stans for Lindin Christian School.  L.C.S. goes up to grade twelve.  It is a really really really big school!  Sometimes I get lost!  My teatchers name is Mrs. Janzen.  Mrs. Janzen is a lot like Ms. Collins.  Mrs. Janzen is kind, sweet, funny and smart.  I am glad I got Mrs. Janzen.  Are class is called 2J beacause were in grade 2 and our teatchers name starts with a J.  In our class we sit at tables we hanve only 16 people!  I  have a few friends named Julieana and Emma and Tiana and Madison.  We have buddies and weer the big buddies for the kindergartin class!  I'm with a person from my class named Katlyn and our little buddie named Maggie so theres really two big buddies.  I think this will be a great year!

Go Karting and Bungee Tramping

One weekend at the end of August we went Go karting and Bungee tramping with Tan and Shawn and Zack and Cohan and Pierce.  First we went Go Karting and then we went Bungee tramping.  Go Karting is really fun and Bungee tramping is really fun too but afterwerds it makes your legs hurt.  I did lots of flips on the Bungee trampalen.  On the Go karting there is a red pedle and a green pedle.  The red pedle is to stop and the green pedle is to go.  I had to go on the kids kart because I am not 10 years old yet.  I want to go back there again some time.  It was a fun day!

The Stanly Cup

On August 17th we got invited to see the Stanly cup.  It was one of those ones where Dustin Penner invits family and friends.  We got invited because my mom babby sat Dustin and she knew him since he ws a babby.  We had supper there.  The supper was really good and for disert we had a Stanly cup cake.  It was really really good.  We took lots of pitchers with the cup.  I even kissed the Stanly cup.  It was a cool day!

Long Trip Home

On our trip home we visitied a lot of places.  First was Seattle, next was Yellowstone, after that was Fargo then we were in Winnipeg!

In Seattle we had a very nice hotel.  We got 3 rooms all conected so we had 3 bathrooms all together.  The view was amazing!  We went to the Market a lot and we also went to the Science Centre.  That was cool!  We also went to the trol under the bridge.  And we walked around a lot.  Seattle was awesome!

Then we went to Yellowstone.  In Yellowstone we called it the wild wild west!  At Yellowstone we went on a cave tour.  The tour guys name was Austin, he talked really fast.  We also saw the Old Fafol.  Old Fafol is a big gizer.  We went to lots of stores there to.  My mom signd in for a hotel but wehn we went in the hotel was prity bad so we went to a diferint hotel close to the other one.  Yellowstone was cool.

Then we went to Billings, we didn't do mutch there.  We shoped alot and sometimes when mommy shoped we went swiming, it was a very nice pool.  One morning we went to the lobey to have breakfist, it was a buffet.  The buffet was really really good.  Billings was fun.  Then we went to Fargo.  Since Fargo is prety much like Winnipeg we didn't do mutch there eather.  So we just shoped in Fargo.  Then we were in Winnipeg!  We remembered alot of things in Winnipeg and prity soone we were at our house!  So we walked around our house a bit but as soone as you no it we were in bed sleeping and waiting for the next day.  It was a long trip home!

Camp

I went to Winkler bible camp.  At camp I was in Love cabin.  My counslers names are Kalie and Erica.  My favourite activity is rops course and Peting Zoo and Zipline.  At horses I rode on Dolly.  Dolly is black.  When we were at the peting zoo, I held a kittin named Leeo.  Leeo is white and Leeo is my favourite kittin.  I went to camp with my friend Bronte.  The theme at camp was "Out of this world".  I was not happy when my mom came to pick me up.  I really want to go back next year!

A Funny Story

**My mom is typing this one out for me.  I am telling her the story.**


On Saturday me and Heloise went out for supper.  When we were in the restaurant, we were playing "Jacks".  Then we wanted to throw the ball around in the courtyard outside the restaurant.  Heloise accidentally bounced it backwards and it landed in a lady's  plate of spaghetti!!


We were scared and then we started to laugh.  We laughed so hard!    When Heloise's dad saw the ball coming towards the spaghetti, he was thinking, "Noooooooooo!".  


I still laugh when I think about it.

McDonald's Fries

Last week me and Mom went to McDonalds I ordered a Happy meal.  It came with a yogurt tube and when I looked at the fries     the fries contaner was super tiny and there were like 8 fries in there! My Mom said that they proberly gave you less because they gave you the yogurt tube but what I know is that im not going to be ordering the Happy meal any time soon!

Spelling Tests

At school we have spelling tests and we have seven levols. When we began our spelling tests my teacher Ms. Collins said that she icspecs the grade 2's to finish all of the levols and she doesint icspeced the grade 1's to finish all of the levols but she said that if the grade 1's want to pass  all of them you can. I am in a grade 1 and 2 split. I am on the last levol for the pree test I spelled 5 wrong and 4 right some of the werds were friend and different and favourite and school and people and actually and through and because and special. On the pree test I got favourite wrong and I got special right and I got because right and I got through wrong and I got different wrong and I got actually wrong and I got people right and I got friend wrong and I got school right. On the pree test I spelled favourite like this favrit and I spelled actually like this acshaly and I spelled through like this throu and I spelled friend like this freind and I spelled different like this diffrint and now I memorised them and I spelled all the rest of them right I am really ixited about the last spelling test! 

Hats Off Day

Today we went to "Hats Off Day". At Hats Off Day thar is a porade and candy and it is really fun! Last year when it was Hats Off Day it was really sunny and we had to put sunscren on! But this year it is prity windey and cold but it's not raning and it's prity wowm. Ferst we found seats and Hannah was suposed to meat up with some of her freinds so she went off to find her freinds so it was just me Ellie mommy and daddy. Prity soon the porade started and thar were some prity cool flots! Soon we fawnd my freind Heloise's mom and Heloise's sister Amelie! Hafe way throu the porade we saw Heloise and her dad! We watched the porade together and we got lots of candy! After the porade we just walked around a little bit and then we wer geting hongry so we got our lunch. And then we walked around again just then my mom spoted a hair dresser and my mom has been wonting for me to get my hair cut and so have I, so we stepped in the hair place and I got my hair cut. After that we looked outsid and it was drisoling so we started to walk home but then it started to pour and we found a roof to get under. We herd litning it was so loud! I was kind of wered about Hannah but I'm sure she was ok. We wated for a long time for the ran to stop but it never stoped so then we wer just like hay why dont we just get really really wet so we got out of the under cover area and we started walking ... and walking ... and walking until we were almost home and it started to really pour and thar was lots and lots of litning we started to run home and we were finoly home. After a whil Hannah and her freinds were here! Hannah's freinds stayed for a little whil and then they left. It was a wild day!

Heloise and the Bees

In my class I have a freind named Heloise. She has three beehives in  her bakyard and she has a really cool beehive suit. One day at school Heloise's mom wanted to bring in a reall beehive in to our classroom and Heloise's mom has a big fram thet has bees in it! Heloise's moms name is Santhe. The beehive thet Santhe brot in is just a little one and it has no reall bees in it. Santhe told us about the bees and she said thet the boy bees are really fat and thats haw you tell the diffrince batwen a girl bee and a boy bee. And she also told us thet boy bees have no stingers and girl bees do all the werk. And then she told us thet bees are the most inportint insect in the hole werld and she said thet if we see a bee out side we should never cill them. At the end she said thet she brot a reall comb and we were going to be aboll to eat some hony! Santhe brot some spons so she passed them around and we got to eat some hony! It was really good! It was a cool day!  

Confederation Park School

The school thet im going to in Vancover is called Confederation park school. Confederation park is prity small cinpared to our school in winapeg. Confederation has a music room and a dance room and a gym and a library and some class rooms and it has a prinsables room and it has some portabols outsid because they cant fit all the class rooms in the school. My teachers name is Ms. Collins Ellies teachers name is Mrs. Safarik and Hannahs teachers name is Ms. Parmar. The music and dance teachers name is Mrs. Ishii. I am glad I got Ms. Collins because she is really nice. I have a very special friend in my class her name is Heloise (the 'H' is silint). I have some other friends to but Heloise is a special one. Confederation park is really closs to our house so we walk every day when its sunny. Confederation park school is a prity good school but im ixited to start a new school in Winapeg called L.C.S! But I am going to miss Confederation park school!

The Green Couch

When my mom and dad got mareyed they bot a green couch. I really love that green couch. It is really soft and comferbol. My mom and dad naw think it is really ogly and they want to get rid of it. Me Ellie and Hannah all really love it and we dont want to get rid of it. So my mom and dad took a pitcher of the green couch and they put it on Craigslist. It is like Kijiji. Some people wanted to come and look at it so they came to our house to look at the green couch. So they came to our house to look around. We were eating supper when they came in. There was a hole grop of people thet came in. One of the boys mom was coming to Vancover so they were going to set up an apartmint for her to stay at. When they saw the couch they said yes right away. The couch was free but they also bot a carpit from us so in totle it was 50 dollers. So they put it in to their truck and they drove away. When they were gone I started to cry because I really love that green couch but my mom said that if no one came for the couch then we would put it in the domp! Then my dad said thet at least someone bot the couch insted of just throuing it in the domp. Then I stoped crying. And naw im not to sad anymore im just a little sad. Im going to miss that couch. I love that couch!
